Ingredients
- 2 salmon fillets (approx. 5 oz each)
- 4 fl oz soy sauce
- 2 oz granulated sugar
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 1 g ginger, grated
- 2 fl oz orange juice
- 0.7 fl oz vegetable oil
- White pepper, to taste
Instructions
Combine soy sauce, sugar, garlic, ginger, and orange juice in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until the liquid has reduced by half, forming a thick glaze.
Cool the teriyaki sauce to room temperature.
Brush the salmon fillets with vegetable oil and season with white pepper.
Preheat the appliance to 350°F. Place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the basket. Cook for 8 minutes.
Remove the salmon from the basket. Let rest for 5 minutes. Brush the surface with the prepared teriyaki sauce before serving.
