The real Jacket Potato at home in half the time. The air fryer makes the skin thin and crispy while the inside becomes as soft as velvet. The ultimate healthy rustic side dish.
Ingredients
- 4 medium potatoes (approx. 6.7 oz / 190g each), uniform in size
- Vegetable oil, for brushing (optional)
- Coarse salt
Instructions
Scrub the potatoes under running water. Dry thoroughly.
Prick each potato 3-4 times with a fork to allow steam to escape during cooking.
For a crispier skin, lightly coat the potatoes with oil and rub with coarse salt.
Arrange the potatoes in the basket. Cook at 400°F (200°C) for 35-40 minutes, depending on size.
Verify doneness by inserting a knife into the center; it should meet no resistance.
