Nuggets 2.0! Use corn flakes to create an extra-crunchy crust in the air fryer. The sealed chicken cubes cook in 15 minutes, ideal for dipping into sauces.
Ingredients
- 17.6 oz chicken breast, cubed
- 5.3 oz unsweetened corn flakes
- 1.8 oz all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs
- 1 tbsp yellow mustard
- 0.5 tbsp hot sauce or paprika
- Salt, to taste
- Garlic powder, to taste
- Onion powder, to taste
Instructions
In a bowl, whisk the eggs with the mustard and hot sauce or paprika.
In a second bowl, combine the flour with salt, garlic powder, and onion powder. On a large plate, coarsely crush the corn flakes.
Dredge the chicken cubes in the seasoned flour, dip in the egg mixture, then coat with the crushed corn flakes, pressing to adhere.
Place the coated chicken bites in the cooking basket in a single layer. Spray with cooking oil.
Cook at 355°F for 15-18 minutes, flipping halfway through.
